I've gone into printer settings this way many times trying to fix the problem - clearly, part of that problem is that I don't have a number of these options: there is no "Scheduler", "Quality & Media" is replaced with "Paper Type/Quality", there is no "Color Options", "Borderless Printing" or "Duplex Printing & Margin" only "Advanced Print Options" which includes only the ink volume option and nothing else. Screenshots of the print dialogue you see would be useful.ĭeMANiK wrote:Actually, it doesn't. What printer are you using? Is it the same one you used before?Īre you using File/Print to access the printer settings? File/Printer Settings does not give access to duplex printing setting. Please give more details of your problem: I get all the printing controls when I select File/Print on the Menu bar.
I need to know how to gain control of this function otherwise this application essentially becomes useless to me.ĭuplex printing works properly on both my printers with my Mac. In particular, I've found that a number of setup controls within these deeper menu layers are grayed out so that the user cannot control them - the most important of which, for me, is one- to two-sided printing. But with this current iteration, many of the controls are hidden away within deeper pulldown menus one of which is printing layout setup.
